Education & Research Services

Thoracic and Sleep Group Queensland provides a range of Education and Research Services for Referring Doctors and Patients.

  • GP education evenings. Available on request.
  • Nursing and allied health education
  • Medical student training
  • Active participation in national and international conferences
  • Educational Brochures are available for GP and specialist practices.

Research activities are underway  with planned collaboration in 2016 with the Wesley-St.Andrew’s Research Institute (WSARI).

The institute aims to make a lasting difference to health care practices through medical research.

The combined Institute was formed in 2014, following the merge between The Wesley Research Institute and St. Andrew’s Medical Institute.

It now operates across all four Uniting Care Health hospitals in Queensland.
