For those who don’t know, it’s Sleep Awareness Week! 5 – 11 August 2019

This years theme is: ‘Sleep on it – memory and problem solving’

Poor quality sleep has impact on learning and cognition and may also be a risk factor for the development of neurodegenerative disorders. Our friends at ABC radio called and invited us along to have a chat for sleep awareness week. The segment for discussion was called “Worth it?” where they wanted to know if pillows were “worth it?”. Our trusty lab manager Phil went along to talk all about pillows and their impact on sleep and overall hygiene, declaring that pillows were absolutely “worth it”. Just keep them clean and make sure they are suitable from a comfort and ergonomic perspective.
