The Commonwealth, together with the Colleges and APHA, have released guidelines for the easing of restrictions on hospital services. Our response to these guidelines must will be implemented across our outpatient and inpatient hospital environments.

The Commonwealth guidelines indicate that some services can resume including procedures representing low risk, high value care and screening programs.

All patients should comply with social distancing measures, and travel and quarantine restrictions, in addition to declaring respiratory symptoms in the past 14 days. All patients are screened in the hospital preadmission process and have a text message immediately prior to admission asking them about fevers.

We have implemented a range of protocols to ensure your patients are able to safely receive the clinical services they require from our service.
