Griffith University: Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Commendations; Recognising Griffith Excellence

15 Oct Griffith University: Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Commendations; Recognising Griffith Excellence

Griffith University closely monitor their students’ experiences of teaching and courses in order to identify and acknowledge their excellent teachers.

From student feedback received during the second half of 2017 they have identified staff members who have achieved outstanding SETs for their courses. Staff members must have evaluations with a mean of greater than 4.8 for all items, a minimum response rate of 40%, and a minimum class size of 15 for postgraduate courses.

Our lab manager Phil Teuwen lectures on the pathophysiology of sleep disorders for the graduate diploma of clinical physiology. He has received a commendation for his teaching. Congratulations to Phil!
